Matt Wayman

Matt Wayman is the Managing Partner of Wayman Law Group, licensed to practice in state and federal courts in Missouri and Illinois. With a specialty in criminal defense, Matt aims to be a positive agent of change operating within the criminal justice system. His most recent efforts include working towards ending cash bail, guided by the overarching belief that systematic change is possible through the efforts of individuals.
Prior to practicing, Matt attended the University of Missouri Columbia (earning an undergraduate degree in business administration) and St. Louis University School of Law (class of 2020). His most notable extracurriculars in law school included teaching criminal law to inmates at the City Justice Center and being an integral member of SLU Law's trial ad competition team.
Before founding Wayman Law Group, Matt served as an associate attorney at a prominent regional criminal defense firm, where he represented clients across a broad range of criminal defense and appellate matters. During that time, he appeared before state and federal trial courts as well as the Missouri and Illinois Courts of Appeals, developing extensive trial experience arguing motions, questioning witnesses, and trying jury trials in cases where clients faced substantial jail time.
When Matt is not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his amazing wife, a professional in the real estate technology industry, and their equally amazing five year-old son and three year-old daughter. His pastimes include cycling, running, stand-up comedy, and admiring mid-century architecture.

Kevin Wayman is Partner at Wayman Law Group, bringing more than 35 years of experience advocating for clients who deserve a committed, principled representative in their corner. He brings a broad civil practice to the firm, handling personal injury, workers compensation, contract matters, wills and trusts, and traffic matters, with a particular focus on serious injury cases including cyclists who have been struck by motor vehicles.
Before cofounding Wayman Law Group, Kevin clerked for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Missouri, building the foundation for a career defined by rigorous preparation and deep courtroom knowledge. He went on to run a successful solo practice for over two decades, earning a reputation among clients and peers alike for tenacity, accessibility, and results.
A graduate of Saint Louis University School of Law, Kevin has appeared in Missouri state courts for over three decades, developing extensive trial experience across a wide range of civil matters. His commitment is straightforward: every client, regardless of background or circumstance, deserves the quality of advocacy that creates real, lasting change.
When Kevin is not in the courtroom, he can often be found on his bike, traveling with family, or spending time with his grandchildren.

Patti Dundon is the Legal Services Coordinator of Wayman Law Group, bringing years of experience guiding clients through some of the most stressful and consequential moments of their lives. She serves as the connective tissue of the firm — managing case logistics, coordinating client communication, and making sure every matter moves forward with the attention and precision it deserves.
Patti's role is client-facing and detail-driven. From the moment a new client contacts the firm through the resolution of their case, she ensures nothing falls through the cracks and that every person who walks through the door feels informed, supported, and prepared. Her calm, organized presence keeps the firm running at the level clients expect and deserve.
When Patti is not keeping the firm on track, she enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
